Your school or tour group will travel through time as you observe the wonders of nature within the Gorge. Rock strata in the Gorge walls tell the stories of huge glaciers, volcanic upheavals and powerful, raging water. See the natural phenomena known as potholes - deep, well-like chasms, including the Adirondacks' largest, 7 feet wide and 35 feet deep, formed by large stones that swirled in the vortex of the river for centuries. Walk through a rare Climax forest, one of the few remaining virgin forests in the Adirondacks, and see unusual plants and tall majestic trees.
<p> <b>Group Rates:</b> Only applies to recognized organizations
with a minimum of 20 people.<br>
<b>Tour Rates:</b> Available exclusively to professional
tour planners and operators. Tour leaders and bus drivers receive complimentary
admission and coffee.<br>
<b>Special Packages:</b> Available with either lunch or
snack and admission to view the waterfalls. Please call 518-946-2278

<b>Guided Tours:</b> Available; reservations are required.
